For ten days, you can go on board some of the world's nicest sailing boats. 45 ships from 12 different countries are berthed on Rouen quays
The story started 25 years ago with the "sails of freedom". Thus started the Armada, on the river Seine. For the sixth edition, the greatest sailing boats from around the world have come to Rouen quays. Visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the ships, as well as visits on board.
At night, famous French and foreign singers and bands play during free concerts from the quays.
Tourists can also eat, drink and buy memorabilia in the various shops around the Armada premises. Special attractions have been designed for children
The Armada is open every day on June 6 - 16, from 10am to 2am.
Many crew members on board speak English.
Take a video tour aboard the Tenacious, one of the British boats. She's been specially designed for a total access to disabled people.
